Computer Workstations - students may select to work on a PC with Windows or an iMac. All computers have Internet access and a variety of software including Microsoft Office, SPSS statistical software (Windows only), JMP statistical software, and a variety of Internet browsers.
Kiosks - for quick Internet access there are kiosks available by the front desk.
Gathering area for socializing - one end of the lab offers couches and chairs where students are welcome to gather. If drinks and snacks are brought in to this area, they can be left on the cart while working on the computers and retrieved on your way out.
Tutoring Center - Writing tutors and Math tutors use the Academic Support Center in Atwood Hall for tutoring sessions. The Writing tutors are available 15 and 20 hours per week - contact the Liberal Studies department for more information. Math tutors are available approximately 12 hours per week -contact the Environmental Science Department for more information.
Homework Area - Large tables and chairs are offered as a quiet homework space.
Group Project and eLearning Lab - a small lab at the back of the ASC may be utilized for group project work or for logging into an elearning class. This lab is equipped with iMacs which can be run as either a Windows machine or a Mac. This lab offers a separate printer.
Print and Scan Center - All printing is done to the large copier or as needed to a color printer.
