Early Honors Program Reception - Wednesday, April 1st

Have you thought about your senior year?  Already have your classes scheduled out?  Alaska Pacific University has an option you should consider.  Our Early Honors Program allows you to stay enrolled at your high school and take college courses here on the APU campus.  Essentially you would get the best of both worlds: You would have an academically challenging senior year (which looks great on college applications) that would culminate with over 32 college credits, and you could take part in any of your high school activities.  Many Early Honors students are varsity athletes, Drama Debate Forensics competitors, help design their school yearbook, or even plan the senior prom.

Early Honors students are able to take their year here at APU and use it to get into selective universities for their first year of traditional college.  They enter that first year already having the experience of registering for college classes, taking placement exams, ironing out financial aid, buying books, taking finals, not to mention knowing that they've already completed a full year of college courses.

Continue to challenge yourself for your senior year with the Early Honors Program.  I invite you to join us Wednesday, April 1st, for an Early Honors Program Reception.  You'll have the opportunity to learn more about the ins and outs of the program, meet faculty and staff, learn about financial aid, and ask current students about their experinces with the Early Honors Program.

The reception is this Wednesday, April 1st, from 7-9pm on the APU campus in the Carr Gottstein Building (map).  Please RSVP with Jason Frost via email or phone.
