February 26, 2009 -- After receiving her historic World Championship silver medal this week, APU student-skier Kikkan Randall recognized the APU Nordic Ski Center and its coaches as playing an important role in her success. In a Febraury 26 Anchorage Daily News article, Kikkan said: "The list of people who have helped me is long, for sure," Randall said in interviews Tuesday. "It's definitely been running through my head today at hyperspeed."

"It was an individual today, but (it's) shared with a lot of people."
