A Message from the Director,
Sharon Sibbald

Are you ready for an academic challenge beyond high school? Early Honors might be just the place for you. We offer seniors an intellectual challenge while, if they wish, continuing to participate in their school’s sports, music, debate, prom and graduation.

You’ll be in small intense college classes, with other college students, taught by full-time faculty who will know your name and push you to do your best. Some of these classes will replace your high school requirements if you still need them, but you’ll be expected to meet university level requirements and carry a university level workload.

Early Honors can help you get accepted into the university of your choice. There are literally thousands of college applicants with your grades and test scores applying to increasingly competitive select programs. Our Early Honors students have gone on to MIT, Harvard and Dartmouth, for example, because completing a year of transferable college credit is a distinction that indicates ability, achievement and motivation.

You’ll have to earn your success, and you’ll be earning it in an intellectually challenging but supportive atmosphere that will change the way you view the world.
