Degree Requirements
The CO-OP and the MAT are two separate programs.

In Education, students start their graduate work with the Teacher Certification Only Option. Upon completion of the CO-OP students have the option of taking an additional 9 credits to earn their MAT. All coursework in the CO-OP degree is prerequisite to the coursework in the MAT.

Student must complete 9 credits focused on action research. Student must also complete and present an action research project
   
*Additional courses in Alaska Studies and Multi Cultural/ Cross Cultural Communication are required by the State of Alaska.
