The CO-OP and the MAT are two separate programs.
In Education, students start their graduate work with the Teacher Certification Only Option. Upon completion of the CO-OP students have the option of taking an additional 9 credits to earn their MAT. All coursework in the CO-OP degree is prerequisite to the coursework in the MAT.
