Careers in the environmental sciences are rewarding, challenging, fun, sometimes frustrating, and extremely important in a world that, thanks in part to workers in our field, exhibits the strains that have accompanied human ascendancy. Teaching and learning how to describe past and current environmental changes, predict future changes, and advocate appropriate and socially acceptable responses to such change, is the mission of APU’s Environmental Science Department.
