WELCOME TO THE MOST
DEMANDING CLASSROOM IN THE WORLD:
ALASKA
Our expeditions will teach you how to work. We find that students who can handle the wet and cold, work in small groups to manage the terrain, assess the risks associated with river crossings, and camp thoughtfully in bear country, are the same students who excel in statistics, research methods, and recreation planning—and later become the graduates that employers seek.
OUR PRIORITY IS YOU
The Outdoor Studies faculty are veteran NOLS and Outward Bound instructors who understand that the relationships we foster in the field continue in the classroom. We may pursue different interests, but we share the same priority: our students.
Let your education lead you to friends and outdoor partners you can trust…
for a life time.
