The Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Accounting prepares students for entry level positions in the accounting field. In addition to the general university requirements the AA students must complete courses in bookkeeping, economics, and foundations of business. The degree will be offered on line. The AA degree in Accounting is appropriate for those entering the accounting profession, or those who work in the accounting field but desire to upgrade their skills. It is also an appropriate option for those students with less than 60 transfer credits who wish to obtain a bachelors degree.
