Health Services Administration Minor

The Health Services Administration minor is for students majoring in other fields who wish to build the skills demanded by healthcare and human services management, businesses, and not-for-profit organizations. The student’s academic advisor should be consulted in the selection of the most appropriate courses.
REQUIRED COURSES BA 10300 – Foundations of Business (4) * HSA 30100 – Health Services Administration Industry Overview (3) HSA 30200 – Systems in Health Services Overview (3) HSA 41000 – Health Care Finance & Accounting (3) HSA 43000 – Health Services Knowledge Management (3) BAM 36100 – Law and Citizenship (3) OR HS 35000 – Health Psychology (3-4) TOTAL CREDIT HOURS: 19-23 * Waiver of this course for Business Majors ** Take whichever one that is not in the student’s major
