Graduate Admissions

Each graduate program requires admission to the University as well as to the program department you wish to enter. The Office of Admissions is here to help you through the application process. Upon receipt of your application, you will be assigned an admissions counselor who will notify you of any remaining documents needed to complete your application. The completed application is then sent to the program department for evaluation by the program director. You may contact Admissions by calling (800) 252-7528 or emailing admissions@alaskapacific.edu.

Important Note: It is important that you verify your department's individual program requirements and deadlines. Please send all application materials to:

Alaska Pacific University
Office of Admissions
4101 University Drive
Anchorage, AK 99508

You may send information all at once or piece-by-piece.

Application Steps:

  1. Complete graduate application form online or send paper application to the Office of Admissions along with $25 application fee. Make checks payable to Alaska Pacific University.
  2. Request that official transcripts be sent from all colleges or universities you have attended. Transcripts may be sent directly to Admissions. If you have transcripts sent to you, they will arrive in a sealed envelope with an official signature. DO NOT OPEN THIS ENVELOPE. Send sealed transcripts, along with any additional information, to Admissions.
  3. International applicants must complete additional materials outlined below. Please note that in most cases the application deadlines for international students are earlier than those for U.S. applicants.
  4. Consult supplemental checklists to the individual program requirements and deadlines. Send supplemental materials to Admissions.
  5. If you wish to apply for financial aid, obtain a copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our reporting code is 001061. Please feel free to consult our Student Financial Services Department with any additional questions. Student Financial Services can be reached at (907) 564-8341 or sfs@alaskapacific.edu.
