Graduate Tuition

A graduate degree or certificate is an amazing investment in your future and it's important to plan ahead. The Office of Admissions and Student Financial Services are here to help you through the process of planning and paying for your graduate education.

Tuition for APU Graduate students is calculated per credit hour. For 2012-13, the Graduate tuition rate is $695 per credit hour (MBA is $630, MAP is $600). Tuition per semester will vary depending upon how many courses you are taking.

How can you plan to pay for these expenses?

Planning for your college expenses can be complicated, but we will help in whatever way we can. Anyone can apply for financial aid. To begin that process, you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. With your FAFSA application, you will be calculating how much financial aid you are eligible to receive.

The amount of financial aid for which you are eligible is based upon your cost of tuition as well as your total cost of attendance (tuition, books, and living allowance). Complete the FAFSA application online: www.fafsa.ed.gov Enter the Alaska Pacific University "school code": 001061

Many of the graduate programs at APU offer a limited number of graduate assistantships. These assistantships are available in the form of tuition waivers for a specific number of semester hours of course work. Graduate assistants provide research, instruction, or related project assistance for the department. The Graduate Assistantship application and the application procedures are included in the Graduate Application for Admission.
