Admissions
International Students
International students wishing to apply to Alaska Pacific University must submit the following documents
to the Office of Admissions:
- Undergraduate application: Follow the application requirements in the undergraduate
application and submit materials by the following deadlines:

- Supplemental Application
for International Student Admission.
- Supporting Financial Documentation: Present financial documentation to support the information provided
under the Annual Budget Section of the Supplemental Application. You must have documentation from each person
or party that is providing you with financial assistance. The documents should reflect the person's financial
status over time. Examples of supporting documents include several months' bank statements, a letter from an
employer stating period of employment as well as planned continued employment and yearly salary, tax returns,
or a US Immigration Form I-134 Affidavit of Support (for students who have a financial sponsor in the United States).
All documents must be officially translated into English and the monetary amounts expressed in US dollars.
- Foreign Credentials Evaluation: All students with transcripts issued by universities and schools outside of
the United States must send their transcripts to a credentials evaluation service for evaluation and request
that official evaluation report be sent to APU. Foreign credentials evaluation must be provided in addition
to the official transcripts. A course-by-course evaluation providing grade point average is required. A list of agencies
which offer this service is contained in the Alaska Pacific University International Student Information Packet.
- TOEFL Scores: All international students must submit official Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores. TOEFL scores are only valid for two years. Alaska Pacific's reporting code is #4201.
A score of 550 on the paper-based test or 80 on the Internet-based test is required for admission.

Please remember to keep copies of all the documents that you are sending to APU. You will be required to present
these documents at the time you apply for a student visa at the U.S. Embassy/Consulate and again to the immigration
inspector when you arrive in the U.S.
