Transfer Students
(students who have earned 30 or more college semester hours)
- Submit the on-line Undergraduate Application for Admission to the Alaska Pacific University Office of Admissions.
- Send a nonrefundable application fee of $25 made payable to Alaska Pacific University. Send your fee in care of the Office of Admissions.
- Provide official transcript(s). Students must request that each college or university they have attended forward an official transcript directly to the Alaska Pacific University Admissions Office. To be considered official, a transcript must be sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the issuing institution and bear the seal or other official designation of the institution. A transcript is required from each postsecondary institution in which students have been enrolled, whether or not credit is earned. A cumulative GPA of 2.00 is required for admission. Students with less than a 2.00 GPA who otherwise demonstrate potential for academic success at Alaska Pacific University may be considered for admission.
- Provide responses to one of the three personal essay topics outlined in the Undergraduate Application.
- The Alaska Pacific University Office of the Registrar will mail an evaluation of the student's transfer credit to transfer students prior to class registration, if possible. The evaluation will designate total hours accepted toward a degree at Alaska Pacific University and which general university requirements have been met.
