The cost of the Early Honors Program is a consolidated fee that includes orientation, tuition, and activities for the Fall and Spring semesters. Books and lab fees are not included. All credits over 18 in a semester are charged at the rate of $420 per credit hour and may only be taken with the permission of the Academic Dean. On campus residence is completely optional for students living in Anchorage and the Mat-Su Valley.

While Early Honors students aren’t eligible for Federal or State financial aid, there are many options to help with the tuition for the program.
- Scholarships: First National Bank Alaska has provided a generous scholarship available only to Early Honors students. This scholarships is in place to promote financial, geographic, and ethnic diversity within Early Honors.
- APU Institutional Scholarship: Based on financial need, as determined by the Early Honors Scholarship Application, these awards are applied directly to the student’s tuition.
- Interest-Free Payment Plans: As an Early Honors student at APU you can enroll in an interest-free payment plan to break your annual tuition into up to 10 interest-free payments.
