Join Student Activities as we walk to the UAA Bookstore to hear a presentation by Tlingit Master Carver, James Williams, an Alaskan Native born in Sitka. His clan is Raven/Frog, or Klks’adi from the Clay House. Besides being a renowned artist/carver he is an accomplished blacksmith and knife maker. At this event, James will showcase examples of his work and discuss the art of carving.
Meet at Grant Hall Lobby at 4:30 pm to walk together.
Presentation begins at 5:00 pm.
