Get involved… Attend Safe Zone Ally Sessions
The APU Safe Zone program exists to create awareness and knowledge regarding the GLBTQA community. APU Safe Zone aims to reduce homophobia and heterosexism by educating the APU and Anchorage communities. You can help APU be a safer and freer environment for all members of our community regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity by becoming a trained ally. All training participants receive a certificate of completion and SWAG!
November 14th : 9-10:30 pm (geared toward student leaders)
November 20th : 11:30 am-1:00 pm (geared toward staff and faculty)
December 6th : 4-5:30 pm (geared toward a general audience)
