ASAPU President and Student at APU
Paula comes to us all the way from Brownsville, Texas, where her enthusiasm and volunteering has followed her, here to APU. The Fall 2010 Leadership Retreat was Paula’s first glance at ASAPU and the rest of the student leaders at APU. It was great to see all the students coming together to become better leaders and help support what they want to create. Paula immediately became involved on campus and co-founded the Volunteer Club during her 2nd semester.
Paula is a Psychology and Liberal Studies major, focusing on Counseling and Psychology, with the hopes of working in the Counseling field someday.
Fondest Memory of APU:
While attending the United Way Anchorage Walk for Warmth, having students, staff, and faculty represent APU as the only institution of higher education in attendance. It was a great feeling and experience to see APU so involved for such a good cause.
