Anchorage Wesleyan Church (AWC) @ Carr Gottstein Room 102
Mar 29 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm

Meet every Sunday at Alaska Pacific University!

The Wesleyan church is a branch of the Methodist church that split away during the time of the Civil War as the main body of the Methodist church supported slavery. It is named after John Wesley, who was a priest in the Church of England during the late 1700’s and was the most influential church leader of his day. John Wesley is a highly respected follower of Christ across most denominational lines around the world. Our faith is not in John Wesley, we simply hold him up as a good example of what it means to be a follower of Christ. Further information regarding the Wesleyan Church is available on the information table.
