The CO-OP application deadline is June 1st for the Fall Semester and November 15th for the Spring Semester.
How do I apply to the CO-OP?
- Complete the Alaska Pacific University graduate application and send it to the
Office of Admissions along with $25 application fee
- Include official transcripts from all universities attended
- Pass the PRAXIS I, C-BEST or WEST-B with scores at or above the Alaska
requirements (Current qualifying scores)
- Provide a copy of an Alaska State Troopers Background Check to the Education Department at Alaska Pacific University

- Provide references from three (3) education professionals

How do I apply to the MAT?
- Complete the Alaska Pacific University graduate application and send it to the Office of Admissions
- Write and submit a 3-4 page essay outlining your educational philosophy and the research topic you wish to pursue
- Submit scores from the Miller Analogy Test (MAT) or the Graduate Records Exam (GRE) general test.
Alaska Pacific’s MAT reporting code is 1841. The GRE reporting code is 4201.
- Submit a copy of your current teaching certificate/license.
