Business Administration Department

Accounting

The Accounting major at Alaska Pacific University uses an innovative approach centered on groupings of related transactions known as business cycles. This approach allows for efficient presentation, giving you ample opportunity to become actively involved in the learning process. In addition to becoming well-versed in the technical side of accounting, you'll be able to develop competencies such as people skills, oral and written communication skills, and the ability to solve problems in unstructured environments. The program is designed to prepare you for active involvement in public, private, or nonprofit accounting.
