Online Loan Applications & Loan Entrance Counseling

Federal Stafford Loans

To complete the application for the Stafford Loan listed on your award letter, please visit the following website:

Under the heading "Stafford Loans," please choose one lender, then complete the application from there. Please use your Department of Education Pin number to E-sign your loan application.

Alaska Supplemental Education Loan and other Alternative Loans

To complete the Alaska Supplemental Education Loan listed on your award letter and/or to compare other Alternative Loans, please visit the following website:

The Alaska Supplemental Education Loan is listed under the heading of "Alternative Loans." Please use your Department of Education Pin number to E-sign this application.

Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Study (PLUS)

To complete the application for the Federal Parent PLUS Loan listed on your award letter, your parent should visit the following website:

Your parent has the choice on whether he or she wishes to apply for the PLUS loan. Your parent is asked to visit the above website to start the process of applying for a PLUS loan. Your parent will need to use his or her Dept. of Education Pin Number to E-Sign the application.
If your parent is denied the PLUS loan for credit or other reasons, our office will award you an additional Unsubsidized Stafford loan.

Student Loan Entrance Counseling

In addition to these compulsory applications, the US Department of Education and our office require every student complete a one-time, and mandatory, online entrance counseling session. This interview is required to be on file with our office before we can pay any federal financial aid to your school account.
