FAFSA Information
Financial assistance may be awarded based on financial need or merit. Alaska Pacific University offers institutional aid in the form of need-based grants and merit-based scholarships. This aid is intended to supplement federal financial aid packages. To be considered for institutional aid, you must first complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You will be considered for financial assistance based primarily on the information reported in the FAFSA. Please be aware that the priority deadline for the FAFSA is March 1. Remember: You must be admitted to Alaska Pacific before we can consider your application for financial assistance.

Atwood Distinguished Scholarship
Who can apply: Awarded to first-year students and transfer students with less than 32 credits who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA required). Renewable with maintenance of required minimum GPA and appropriate level of student conduct.
APU Trustee Scholarship
Who can apply: Awarded to transfer students with 32 or more credits who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA required). Essay quality, level of community involvement, and extracurricular activities will be considered. Renewable with maintenance of required minimum GPA and appropriate level of student conduct.
APU Community Action Award
Who can apply: Students who demonstrate high levels of community service.
Alaska Scholarship
Who can apply: Alaska high school graduates, members of the military and/or their dependents or residents of Alaska with 5 or more years of residency.
APU Gold Award & Eagle Scout Scholarship
Who can apply: Recipients of the Gold Award and Eagle Scouts who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement and community service.
