Course offerings

Graduate and undergraduate level classes in which students work through a project-based curriculum to learn GIS and develop skills using ArcInfo and ArcView.

Additionally, we offer other courses that make use of our GIS capabilities including:

• Land Use Planning
• Conservation Biology
• We are planning a course in advanced GIS that will cover advanced topics in cartographic modeling and spatial analysis.
• With the hiring of a new professor in Marine Biology, we will pursue using GIS to investigate the marine environment.
