Master of Business Administration

Program Description

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) provides you with the managerial and technical skills necessary for positions of leadership in an increasingly global and technologically sophisticated marketplace. As a MBA student, you will achieve an understanding of universal business concepts, and are encouraged to explore and develop individual interests through internships and directed study.

The MBA program consists of 12 courses: eight core and four elective.

Specializations are developed through elective courses, self-directed study, internships, and a thesis option. Elective classes can be chosen from the business administration curriculum or from other disciplines including education, psychology, telecommunications, and environmental science (with approval of the program director).

All MBA students must complete a minimum of 24 credits of required courses as follow:

Certificate of Graduate Studies in Entrepreneurship

This certificate program is designed for students who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge of entrepreneurship but do not wish to take all of the courses in business administration that are required for the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

The certificate is awarded to those students who complete the requirements in recognition that they have attained an advanced level of competency in the field of entrepreneurship. Requirements for admission to the Certificate program are the same as those for the degree program.
