Eric Strabel coaches the University Team and assists Erik Flora with the Senior/Elite Team. He recently retired from a ski racing career with national and international success. He has 2nd place finishes at the NCAA and USSA National Championships in addition to being in the top 10 at the World Junior Championships. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2005. Eric coached the UAA Ski Team during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons. He worked professionally as an engineer from 2006 to 2008 until he was certain that he would rather engineer skiers to be the fastest in the world.
