Semester Snapshot

Trip Descriptions

The Semester Snapshot has been developed to give you a glimpse of what college life at Alaska Pacific University is like. All of our trips offer on-campus time to attend classes, interact with students, staff and faculty and get a feel for the APU community. The trips also include off-campus time that could be spent enjoying winter activities, exploring Anchorage and getting outside of the city limits.

We strongly believe in visiting Alaska Pacific University and Alaska to see if they are the right fit for you. To make this easier on you, we are offering this opportunity FREE! Once you step off the plane all of your transportation, lodging, and meals are covered. All you need is spending money for Alaska souvenirs.

Each trip has its own special flavor, but all of the trips will include:

  • Staying with a student host.
  • Having lunch with faculty.
  • Meeting folks from Financial Aid and Student Life.
  • Sitting in on one or two classes of your choice.
  • Experiencing all that Alaska and APU have to offer.
