The 2020 Anchorage City-Wide Career & Job Fair is happening Friday, February 21, 2020 from 10-4 at the University Center. This fair is free and open to the public! Doors open at 10:00 am and job seekers should come professionally dressed with copies of your resume to give to employers. Come and help us celebrate our Spring 2020 graduates. Alumni Association partnering with ASAPU to host its annual Alumni BBQ. The event is open to the graduates and their families, students, alumni, faculty and staff. The event will be held at Atwood Center, come join our block party of sorts with lawn games, BBQ (burgers, veggie burgers, reindeer dogs, and hot dogs), beer and wine, music, and more.

Canceled – Boating Alaska: Are You Rescue Ready?

Outdoor Studies Alumni working at the Alaska Office of Boating Safety are giving their "Boating Alaska: Are You Rescue Ready?" presentation. The presentation will cover the three stages of cold water immersion, the importance of wearing a life jacket, types of life jackets, required equipment, and Alaska's recreational boating fatality statistics. Pizza will be provided to all attendees.

Outdoor Studies Alumni working at the Alaska Office of Boating Safety are giving their "Kids Don't Float" program at the Moseley Pool. The program is free for all attendees. Please call (907)761-5603 to reserve your spot. Parents and children are both encouraged and welcome to participate. Activities will include testing life jacket performance, man-overboard drills, practicing self-rescues, and survival swimming.

Kids Don’t Float Zoom Webinar
The APU Alumni Association has partnered with the State of Alaska's Boating Safety Office to host a Kids Don’t Float Zoom Webinar on Thursday, June 11 from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm for the APU and ANTHC community.
