We recognize that you may have expenses related to APU’s response to the pandemic and the need to move more courses online, including, for example, computing equipment for online coursework, increases in internet coverage, increases in utility bills, or increases in childcare expenses. APU has approximately $27,000 of emergency financial assistance grants available to students enrolled in the Fall semester. These funds will be split evenly among eligible applicants and distributed after the application deadline. Please read the application carefully to determine your eligibility. Students who have received other CARES Act funding may apply if they have additional expenses related to the Fall semester.
The application for Fall 2020 CARES Act funding is below. It requires self-certification, but no documentation is required. You must submit your completed application to financialaid@alaskapacific.edu by October 2, 2020 to receive funding.
Best wishes for a healthy and productive semester!
