REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
- Import new prospect, applicant, and admit records as they arrive.
- Ensures integrity of Admissions processes and workflows, including established communications plans and internal/interdepartmental processes for new students.
- Assists in Director and Assistant Director in training student workers.
- Receive application files from Student Records Specialists for communication sequencing and review completed applications for admissions decisions or escalation.
- Update prospect, applicant, and admit records as necessary or as directed by Admissions management.
- Oversees the department’s use of SIS systems and the processing of prospective and student information data, ensuring that data entered into the systems are accurate and timely for use by various departments across the university.
- Clarifies policies and procedures concerning the admissions processes of the University.
- Conduct research and generate reports for the Office of Admissions as directed.
- Generate mail, phone, and email contact lists as requested.
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the database for outreach and reporting purposes.
- Creates and maintains communication plan for prospective and newly admitted students.
- Assists in the coordination and implementation of communication plans for all prospects, applicants, and admitted students.
- Maintains admission publication materials for the University.
- Work with other divisional offices to support and maintain the internal flow of information.
- On an as-needed basis, fulfill Admission Counselor duties in providing information to prospective students, arrange and participate in visits to high schools in Alaska, and make presentations about the University and its programs to appropriate groups and organizations.

MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
Non-Supervisory: Two (2) years general office experience required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Possess current Alaska driver’s license, or ability to obtain an Alaska driver’s license.
