Nathan Perry’s skillful use of materials and mediums such as scratchboard, pastels, pen and ink, graphite, acrylics, oils, and mixed media inspires his versatile artistic response to the landscape, wildlife, portraiture and spiritual themes. His diverse artistic process includes small strokes, meticulous lines, bold strokes and vibrant colors and ranges from non-objective abstract expressionism to intricately detailed realism. Relocation from Montana to Alaska has intensified his work about the natural and mystical world around us, transcending what we see around us to reveal a deeper meaning to life.
