At the St. Genesius Community Center the chances of a Merry Christmas seems pretty remote. The Center is threatened by a new highway project that will pass right over the Center’s property, but the sisters of St. Genesius are pressing on with plans for the annual holiday musical review with the children and adults of the neighborhood, in the forlorn hope that there is a Christmas miracle in the moonlight.
To make matters worse, holiday romance is growing more and more unlikely for community center employee Aurora as her would be boyfriend Nick prepares to join the army without ever asking her to be his gal. It gets even more complicated as handsome Christopher has his eye on Aurora and sassy Noel has her cap set for Christopher, and with all the craziness of the musical review, no one seems destined for Christmas kisses under the mistletoe.
The centers eccentric custodian Gabriel is unphased by all the drama, and along with his Bluegrass combo The Angel Band, continues to offer a ray of hope that, at Christmas time, every thing always works out for the best.
This singing, dancing, fun filled holiday romp is sure to warm the heart of even the grinchiest Grinch and the scriogiest Scrooge.
