Winter Olympic Kick Off Celebration

Please join APU Nordic Ski Center and Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage (NSAA) for a Winter Olympic Kick Off Celebration!
The event will be held outdoors from 6 -11:30 p.m. at Alaska Pacific University. Courtesy of the Alaska Book Mobile, an outdoor projection of the Opening Ceremony highlights will be shown on the side of Grant Hall from 6-8 p.m. We’ll also screen the Women’s 7.5 and 7.5 Skiathlon LIVE at 10:30pm! Throughout the evening, NSAA will host small ski races and games for kids and have concessions for event attendees. Former Alaskan Olympians will join the celebration and ski for kids!

* Viewing of past World Cup & Olympic Races
10:30-11:30 p.m.
* LIVE Olympic Watch Party for Women’s 7.5+7.5km Skiathlon!

This is an outdoor event. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have had a close contact, we ask for you to not attend. Masks are required for indoor use of facilities. Free parking is available in designated campus parking lots. Street parking is prohibited.
