Hello,
I have attached the promised Telecommuting Request Form. Please talk to your supervisor if you have questions or to see if this form is applicable to you. If you have not traveled there is no urgency to move to telecommuting for personal health reasons (at least at this time). Work with your supervisor on the process and form.
I also wanted to emphasize some points from previous emails.
- APU only follows the ASD for closures for inclement weather. We are open in a limited fashion on Monday. Face to Face classes are not occurring. Online classes will continue next week.
- If you are returning from travel please consider the safety of others and follow the guidelines below. All “Global” travel per CDC is now a level 2 warning. Check the website link below for the most current recommendations. Please talk to your supervisor about telecommuting if you are returning from at risk travel or at risk situations while traveling.
- Enact safe practices if you are at APU next week and in your home environment-social distancing, teleconference for meetings, wash your hands, etc.
- Moseley and Atwood Gym are available to students and employees at this time. The hours may need to be significantly limited. Family members can accompany employees, but please be responsible in ensuring the safety of the students and employees health.
Please touch base with our students as appropriate for your roles (electronically or telephonically). How we treat them, and communicate with them, at this critical time will leave a lasting impression on them.
We now have a webpage dedicated to our updates. https://www.alaskapacific.edu/category/coronavirus/
Thanks,
Bob
