Toni Riley

Hello, I am Toni Riley, I am originally from San Louis Obispo, California but moved around quite a bit during my childhood. I was raised in both Bowling Green, Ohio and Jacksonville, North Carolina. I completed my undergraduate degree in History and Political Science at the University of North Carolina, my Masters in History at UNC-Charlotte and I am currently in the process of completely my PhD in Higher Education Leadership. I have worked in higher education for over ten years in teaching, research and enrollment management. As a first generation college student I am devoted to making college more accessible to underrepresented populations—including transparency in the admissions application process and knowledge of financial aid and scholarships opportunities and procedures. This is what led me to Alaska Pacific University. I am enthusiastic about the future and direction of the institution and thrilled to be a part of its journey.
