Cliff Hartman Endowed Teaching Scholarship

Overview

Cliff and Jane Hartman spent their entire adult lives in Alaska, moving here in 1948 with then-infant son Richard. Cliff was the consummate educator, school administrator and, during the late 1960’s, Commissioner of Education for the State of Alaska under Governor Walter Hickel. His lifelong passion for education theory and methodology persisted until his death in 1999.
