Overview
Founded in December 1991, Cliff Hartman established the Jane Hartman Scholarship as a memorial to his late wife—Jane Hartman.
Cliff and Jane Hartman spent their entire adult lives in Alaska, moving here in 1948 with then-infant son Richard. Jane was peerless homemaker with an abiding interest in the creative arts, particularly writing to which she devote much of her free time in the years immediately preceding her untimely death from cancer in 1973.
