The Saltchuk Alaska Scholarship is a financial award to be applied to scholarships for Alaska residents seeking higher education opportunities. It is not limited to an area of study and can be used for Undergraduate and Graduate level courses.
Priority to students in the following communities: Anchorage, Bethel, Bristol Bay, Dillingham, Aniak, Barrow, Fairbanks, Haines, Juneau, Kenai Peninsula, King Salmon, Kotzebue, Kodiak, Homer, N. Slope Borough, Seward, McGrath, Nome, St Marys, Unalakleet, Unalaska, Wrangell, Yakutat; Full-time undergraduate or half-time graduate; GPA of 3.0 or greater; willing to release name, participate in receptions and participate in mentorship and job shadowing in one of the Saltchuk family companies. Recipient must write a thank you letter.
