Summer Trip
The trip is designed to showcase the APU community and some of the outdoor opportunities we have here in the great state of Alaska with experienced guides and instructors.
Summer Trip Dates are June 10th, 2019 – June 14th, 2019
We will start the trip with trekking on a glacier followed by two days of rafting to include one tent camping overnight on class I-II water. We will also go for a tour of the APU Farm, Kayak on a crystal blue lake, view wildlife and explore many of the popular scenic destination in the area with day hikes in alpine tundra. We will also spend time in the largest city in Alaska dining at the local favorite restaurants and a trip to the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. It’s our goal to make sure you are left with a memorable uniquely Alaskan experience and a sample of what it would be like going to school at APU.
The Summer Trip is open to future APU students 16 years of age or older. The cost to participate is $500 + airfare to and from Anchorage, AK. There are only 12 seats available for this journey. That’s right, only 12! Do not hesitate to reserve your spot.
Note: Students must be 16 years of age by June 10th to be eligible for this trip.
