Alaska Pacific University is pleased to again offer its unique Summer Visit program for interested future students. The 2016 Summer Visit is scheduled for June 13th – 19th.
The trip is designed to showcase the APU community and some of the outdoor opportunities we have here in the great state of Alaska with experienced guides and instructors.
We will start the trip with trekking on a glacier followed by two days of rafting to include one tent camping overnight on class I-II water. We will also go for a tour of the APU Farm, Kayak on a crystal blue lake, view wildlife and explore many of the popular scenic destination in the area with day hikes in alpine tundra. We will also spend time in the largest city in Alaska dinning at the local favorite restaurants and a trip to the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. It’s our goal to make sure you are left with a memorable uniquely Alaskan experience and a sample of what it would be like going to school at APU.
The Summer Visit is open to future APU students entering their junior or senior years of high school. The cost to participate is $500 + airfare to and from Anchorage, AK.
