A Message From APU President Dr. Robert Onders
Hello from APU! We hope you’re staying safe and healthy during this time apart.
While this spring has been more challenging than any of us could have anticipated, there’s still so much going on in our University community that we can be proud of and excited about. We’re happy to share some of this good news with you in this newsletter, as well as important updates from campus.
Most importantly, of course, we are so excited that Valerie Nurr’araaluk Davidson will be stepping into the role of APU President on April 25. Having known Val for many years, I could not possibly be happier for APU.
I’m so proud of the way that our community has risen to the challenges presented by COVID-19. Thank you all for your patience, flexibility, and resourcefulness during this time. You have made me proud to serve as the 11th President of APU, and to continue my work at the University in my new capacity. I am looking forward to seeing you all on campus when it is safe for us to be together again.
