Chenega Corporation Endowed Scholarship

Overview

The Chenega people have lived in Prince William Sound for some 10,000 years. Their story is one of resilience and perseverance. Chenega is an Alaska Native Corporation established pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act of 1971. Today, the Chenega Corporation ranks among the top 10 most successful Alaskan-owned businesses in the State. The Chenega Corporation established their endowed scholarship at APU in order to make higher education at the university available to their shareholders, their spouses, and descendants.

Awarding Criteria

Chenega Corporation shareholder, or the spouse or descendants of a shareholder.
