Lifespan & Human Development
Advanced Mythology and Folklore
Expedition Leadership
Survival Skills
Directed Study: Chess Behavior through Personality Theory and Decision Making
Directed Study: History and Philosophy of Chess

At APU, students are encouraged to be accountable for their education; to draw parallels between their interests of study and passion. Hopefully, the students can create paths of connection, so that they may positively contribute to the lives of others. Each of these courses provided intrinsic value to the learning of human-psyche for me. More importantly, self-discovery.

What is your favorite APU memory?

What is going to be your next adventure post-APU?

There is a post-APU?!

My endeavors are to finish development and see implementation of chess curriculum in higher education. To do this, my hopeful adventure will begin anew here at Alaska Pacific University in the Master of Arts Program (MAP) and (CO-OP) for Alaskan State K-8 teaching certification.

Any words of wisdom for students working on completing their degrees?

Just Resign.

Doubt from others can be one of the strongest motivational factors in life and was mine. Face opposition and smile with tenacity. Seek opportunity to fail, embrace humility, and grow resilience.
