Coronavirus Updates

October 6 – Message from President Valerie Davidson to the APU Staff and Faculty – Telecommuting extension through January 3, 2021.

October 6, 2020

Dear APU Staff, Faculty, and Adjuncts,

Previously approved telecommuting arrangements will be extended through January 3, 2021.  Please continue to work with your supervisor to provide coverage that ensures safe campus operations.
We are still planning for employees to return gradually over time, as their personal circumstances and job responsibilities allow. APU is preparing for employees to return to campus with protocols in place for a healthy campus environment. If you anticipate needing to extend your telecommuting beyond January 3rd, please contact your supervisor.
We recognize the second half of the semester will bring a flurry of additional activity as it does every year. I want to personally thank each of you for your commitment to our students, to the safety of our community, and to each other. Taking care of yourself is also an important part of maintaining your health.
Quyana (thank you) for continuing to maintain the quality, high level of support to our students that you have been providing both virtually and in person.

Val
