Each year, the Alaska Journal of Commerce honors “the talent and outstanding efforts of individual Alaskans in their professions and in their community involvement.” What makes this group of Alaskans special is that they are all under 40 years of age.
On April 3rd, The Alaska Journal of Commerce held their annual luncheon to honor their “Top Forty under 40” for 2015. Among the honorees were four alumni and students from Alaska Pacific University:
- Charity Carmody, President, Beacon Hill and President/Owner of Carmody Insurance Agency inc.. Ms. Carmody is current5ly enrolled in APU’s MBA program;
- June Gardner, Operations Systems Manager, Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, who studied Business Administration and Management;
- Magen James, Programs and Event Director, Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, a graduate of the MBA program;
- Natasha M. Pineda, who earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management.
