Get on the Right Path
APU Advising counselors are ready to guide you through enrollment and all the way to graduation.
As an incoming student, you’ll be paired with a first-year academic advisor. As you progress toward completing your major you will be paired with a faculty advisor who is a specialist in your chosen field.
Contact Advising whenever you need direction or advice toward your academic goals.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is funding that helps pay for college. Nearly all APU students get some type of Financial Aid and some students get a lot. Learning about what financial aid you may be eligible for helps to estimate the cost to the student.

Student Accounts
The Student Accounts office administers billing and payments. Student billing statements are not mailed – all student account information is available via the student web portal. Many forms of payment are accepted, including but not limited to lump sum payments, semester and annual payment plans, and third-party sponsorship. Student Accounts also handles billing holds and collection efforts.

Students who have not made financial arrangements or communicated about special arrangements by payment deadlines are subject to late fees.
Lastly, online payments do not constitute a payment plan with APU, and is not to be used for transcript orders. If you anticipate a problem meeting payment deadlines or have special considerations regarding payment arrangements, please send a message to studentaccounts@alaskapacific.edu to let us know.
Paying on Behalf of a Student
Account ledger and balance information is not available using this option; it is a payment function only. You’ll need to know the student’s name and APU email to complete a payment.
