Classes are Free for APU Students, Staff, and Faculty!
General Public: $5 per class or $45 for a 10 card punch pass.
Take time to nourish your body and mind! Our Yoga classes vary in style and are appropriate for all levels. Do you like an active practice? Consider the flow and strength building Yang Yoga classes. If you prefer a more meditative experience focusing on balance, alignment and breath, perhaps you’ll try Yin Yoga or Yoga basics. Props and mats available upon request.
Water Aerobics exercises uses the water as resistance while doing aerobic training to provide the body with both resistance and cardiovascular exercise in a low impact environment. Perfect for all fitness levels as you decide on the intensity; the faster you move and more range of movement you use the harder it is!
Paddle Board Yoga
This yoga class takes place in the pool! Challenge your balance and try Yoga on a paddle board for a fun workout. We recommend wearing a swim suit along with synthetic leggings or long sleeve top, which will help you stay warm and avoid slipping against your skin in poses that require you to press your legs into your arms such as crow pose. Great for beginners and advanced yogis alike, the class will challenge your balance, core, legs, and glutes.
This is the perfect time to practice your bracing techniques, roll, and wet exits. Boats and equipment provided. Limited to 8 participants on a first come basis.
Key Log Rolling
Lumberjack rolling on a synthetic log in the pool! Keep moving your feet, and remember that falling is half the fun!
