Indigenous Peoples’ Day Celebration

Join Alaska Pacific University for a celebration of Indigenous Peoples’ Day honoring the cultures, traditions, knowledge, and communities that make Alaska unique.

Enjoy an afternoon filled with Alaska Native dance, traditional foods, local art, guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with community. Eat fish head soup and moose soup, explore artwork from local vendors, experience the energy and beauty of Alaska Native dance groups, and hear from guest speakers! Whether you’re an APU student, employee, or community member, all are welcome. Come celebrate Indigenous peoples, share in community, and learn from the cultures and traditions that continue to shape Alaska. Everyone is welcome!
