Eden Beane
Eden grew up in Maine and she spent most of her childhood exploring the outdoors in all types of weather. From a young age she felt a strong connection to nature and to the changing seasons. Her favorite memories are of playing near the creek behind her childhood home during a rainy spring, snow days filled with sledding until dark and warming up with hot cocoa, and watching the colors of the leaves change from bright green to dark red and orange every autumn. Eden graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2018 from Mount Ida College in Massachusetts. Since graduating Eden has become an avid traveler and loves to learn about the ways other cultures live and how they view the world. She is also a certified yoga teacher and finds great joy in teaching yoga to children, she did her yoga training in Morocco in 2023. Eden previously worked at All Friends Nature School in San Diego, California where she taught the Sprouts Class (3-4 yrs), where they learned about native plants and animals, staying safe in nature, sewing & hands on crafts, imaginary play, and practical life skills. Eden lived in New Zealand from 2024-25 and taught at another nature school there on the North Island, called Wildly Curious. She taught her class yoga every morning, built bamboo huts, studied herbology, rivers, and oceans. In her free time she loves to hike, read, craft, and bake. Eden is so excited to start her journey for her Masters degree in the MSOEE pro
