B.A Environmental Studies Art and Humanities

Growing up outside of Fairbanks I was lucky to spend a lot of time in remote and protected areas of Alaska. Overtime I learned the transformative power of time spent outside and the need to protect undeveloped natural places, especially for those who call those lands home. I’ve always wanted to give kids the same opportunities that I had and since elementary school have been devoted to becoming a guide for kids outside. I am most interested in the experiential learning of Outdoor Adventure Education and how exploring and learning to work as a team outside can develop self confidence, empathy, and a love for nature. After four years in the Midwest getting my undergraduate, I am so excited to be back home starting my education journey at the Kellogg Field School.
