After growing up in Wisconsin and graduating college, Tim started traveling, both personally, as well as working seasonal contract jobs both at home and abroad. Much of that time was spent as a guide for multi-day road trips all over the United States and Canada. He has more recently enjoyed leading sea kayaking tours out of Seward and multi-day backpacking and paddling adventures in other remote wilderness areas of Alaska. Now Tim has transitioned to another style of guiding — leading students through the admissions process at Alaska Pacific University! He loves the intimate campus and opportunities for adventure APU offers and believes in the experience-based learning this school provides. Tim still loves to hike, forage, paddle, cycle, and do all things outdoors in Alaska and is passionate about all APU and his favorite state has to offer you.
