Clarify your writing

APU students have access to free writing and communication support through the Effective Communication Center (ECC), part of the university’s writing program. Whether you’re working on a paper or preparing a classroom presentation, ECC tutors can help at every stage of the process. Tutoring is typically offered virtually: simply email your draft and assignment instructions to ecc@alaskapacific.edu. You’ll receive detailed feedback from a tutor typically within three business days.

ECC tutors can assist with refining your topic, developing a strong thesis, finding and evaluating credible sources, and revising for clarity, organization, and correct grammar, punctuation, and word choice. Parking for APU Students at the UAA/APU Consortium Library Vehicles with a valid APU parking permit can park in the lots directly next to the library on the east and north side of the building. During construction of the Alaska Leaders Archive, vehicles with a valid APU parking permit can also park in the Central Parking Garage and East Campus Central Lot near the Social Sciences Building.
